Scallop Shell

A symbol of departure. A signpost for the journey.
The pilgrim's scallop shell is one of the most recognized elements on the Camino de Santiago. Traditionally attached to a backpack, it identifies those walking towards Santiago and connects you to all those who, before you, made the same journey.
Carrying it is not mandatory, but it has a special meaning: it reminds you of your intention, marks the beginning of your journey, and encourages mutual help among pilgrims.
14-day returns
Under the applicable legislation (namely Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14), when the customer contracts as a consumer, they have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without needing to state any reason.
The period for exercising the right of free withdrawal starts from the day on which the customer (or a third party indicated by them, other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the product.
To exercise the right of free withdrawal, the customer can contact us via email: info@caminhoportuguesdesantiago.eu
The right can be exercised by any unequivocal means of communication. For the deadline to be met, it is sufficient that the communication of the decision to withdraw is sent before the end of the 14-day period.
